Keep it Green Landscaping was established in 2014 by Andrew Willems. He moved from Calgary in 2012, working with his wife’s parents with their landscape company, learning the trade. When they retired in 2014, he took over the business and grew it to where it is today. KIGL is based in Mission BC and provides services all through the Lower Mainland
Meet The Team
Andrew Willems
Andrew Willems grew up in Abbotsford, BC. He became a master machinist working in Abbotsford until he and his wife moved to Calgary for 7 years. On return to BC in 2012, Andrew started working with his in-laws who owned a landscape company where his knowledge and expertise grew through much hard work. In 2014 Andrew took over the business which has now has grown substantially. Andrew has a passion for a job well done, working alongside his clients and doing everything possible to provide his clients with quality landscaping. On weekends he is busy keeping up with his very active boys and working in his own yard.
Jacob Visser
Jacob grew up in St. Catharines Ontario, working and training to become a chef through post secondary schooling. His career took him to Tofino, BC where he furthered his culinary training as one of two wedding cooks at the Wickaninnish Inn. Leaving behind the culinary world, Jacob took with him his love of art, his attention to detail, his love for coffee, and his passion for a job well done to a new industry. After moving to Abbotsford in the fall of 2018, Jacob began with Keep it Green when Andrew took him under his wing, teaching him the tricks of the trade. Jacob still loves to work with food, but has gladly traded in his knives and Chef hat for a rake and a shovel.
